Scaffold Table Lamp

This product is available for preorder and we will be making a select few in the coming weeks. 

The Scaffold Lamp is inspired by late night fog and reflective windows casting obscured, dancing light and shadow through the gridded scaffolding on abandoned construction projects in Downtown Los Angeles.

Made from locally-sourced recycled clear, aqua, and bright green glass bottles, each bottle is ‘unrolled’ in the kiln and then layered to create a unique patchwork. Lamp rods, threaded nuts, and aluminum elbows create the rigid frame in which the organic panels sit. 

Good things take time. We make each item to order, and painstakingly pick up, clean, melt, stamp, anneal and refire the bottles before finishing it by hand. 

Disclaimer: Every item is made by hand and one of a kind. While the photos are a good representation, each glass panel will have unique tones, colors and shapes.
